After obtaining the title of Piano Teacher at the Conservatory of Music at the Liceu de Barcelona and the Degree in Pedagogy at the UAB, I completed the Master of Digital Arts – Music at the U.P.F. from Barcelona. I studied musical composition, electroacoustic composition and interactive musical systems with Eduard Resina, Gabriel Brncic, Sergi Jordà, José Manuel Berenguer and José Lozano.
Later I moved to Paris to do the DEA in “Esthetiques, Sciences et Technologies des Arts – Specialité Musique” at the University of Paris 8 under the tutelage of Horacio Vaggione. This allowed me to study musical composition with José Manuel López López and interactive musical systems with Anne Sedes.
I obtained the DEM in Electroacoustic Composition at the Pantin Conservatory (France) with Christine Groult and the DEM in Musical Composition at the Conservatory “d'Aulnay-sous-Bois” (France) with José Luís Campana and Mario Mary. Later I obtained the Cycle of Improvement in Musical Composition at the CRR in Reims (France) with Daniel d'Adamo and Tom Mays.
I attended IRCAM's Course OVERVIEW and studied music composition with Philippe Leroux at the Nanterre Conservatory (France), Electroacoustic Music Composition with Denis Dufour at the CRR Conservatory in Paris and music composition with Rebecca Saunders for a year in Berlin.
Finally I obtained the Doctorate in “Esthétiques, Sciences et Technologies des Arts – Spécialité Musique” with Anne Sedes at the same University of Paris 8 (2012).
In parallel, he has studied and received advice from other composers such as Gilles Racot, François Bayle and Pierluigi Billone.
I have received training grants and creation/composition commissions from the Generalitat de Catalunya, the Phonos Foundation, the Duran Martí Foundation, Denistés93, the INAEM-CDMC, SACEM. My works have been performed in several countries and have been awarded in several international competitions.
I have been and am a member of the selection committee of several international composition competitions and festivals.
I am currently part of the Catalan Association of Composers, the Electroacoustic Music Association of Spain and the Ribera d'Ebre Jazz Friends Association.
I am artistic director of Morphosis Ensemble.
